Upon examination, if the trademark is approved it will be published in the Trademark Gazette for three (3) months.During this period any interested party may formally oppose the registration. Generally, CTMO will examine grounds of opposition based on whether the application is identical or similar with a prior application or registration which is filed with the similar goods or services. On the other hand, if no opposition is filed, the trademark will be registered.
